Shriners Hospitals for Children — Philadelphia is dedicated to improving the lives of children. We have a highly trained team of medical specialists caring for the most routine to the rarely seen pediatric orthopaedic conditions and spinal cord injuries.Care for patients at the Philadelphia Shriners Hospital begins with an initial consultation, followed by establishing a diagnosis and a treatment plan. Our specialists and therapists collaborate to determine the best course of care and communicate quickly with the referring physicians. The hospital offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. Children can receive care for all of their orthopaedic needs in one building.
Our patients come from all over Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia, as well as throughout the world. Children up to age 18 are eligible for care at Shriners Hospitals for Children. Acceptance is based solely on a child’s medical needs, regardless of the families’ ability to pay.
